Macro photographer Nordin Seruyan captured this awesome image of a tiny praying mantis riding on a snail’s back in Seruyan, Indonesia. It looks like the mantis might be admiring its reflection as well. It’s important to make sure you’re looking your greenest when riding snailback through the jungle.
According to Nordin, the insect had been knocked from its leafy perch by heavy rain and fell into a puddle. Fortunately it managed to hitch a ride on this passing snail in order to reach safety. Clever little mantis.

The magnolia is one of the very few things on earth I consider sacred. There’s something so ancient and pure about them, but dark and rich. Stunning.
